Name: Teresa Burchette
Ms. Teresa Burchette teaches both Intro to Science and Chemisty here at MPHS. Her educational qualifications include receiving a BA in Psychology and MA in Behavioral Neurobiology from San Diego State University. Ms. Burchette put her hard earned degrees to work after college by running a research lab and studing Fetal Alcohol Syndrone. When she is not hard at work she enjoys camping, video games, gardening, cooking, and her most favorite activity of all, spending time with her grandson Austin. Her reasoning for entering the teaching field occured in college where she saw many of the students there were weak in the sciences and since she loves teenagers she decided to teach high school kids before then went off to college. Lastly Ms. B(as her students call her) would like share that she thinks MPHS is best high school in San Jose!
